What is this mechanic? I have seen trading between my own settlements but I'm not sure what this Village Trade concept is. I have built every structure in the game.

To be clear we aren't talking about buying selling things at the village merchant right? Nor would we be talking about giving(selling) the Village Elder wolf fangs or old coins?
